Job Summary
Performs a variety of duties involved with hospital food service for patients: serves meals and snacks, delivers room service menus, guides patients in meal ordering systems, assesses patient ability to use the meal order system, and records intake/calorie data. Maintains HACCP compliance, uses computerized diet sheets, communicates with nursing staff and dietitians, and ensures quality control and supply PAR levels. Emphasizes customer service and collaboration with care teams to support patients’ dietary needs.
Required Qualifications
- Direct customer service experience preferred
- Previous food service experience and/or work with therapeutic diets preferred
- On-the-job training provided
