Room Service Assistant - PRN

Provides patient food service by serving meals and snacks to patients, delivering room service menus, and instructing patients on meal ordering systems. Uses computerized diet sheets and the patient computer system to retrieve and record meal orders, intake, and calories. Maintains HACCP compliance, verifies diet order parameters, and communicates with nursing staff, nutrition techs, dietitians, and call center staff. Focuses on accurate order processing (phone and in-person), menu selection appropriate to diet, and maintaining quality through coordination with co-workers and supervisors. Demonstrates strong customer service, listening, and teamwork skills to support Sanford Health’s hospital-based nutrition and dining operations.
