Serve meals and snacks to patients in a professional manner while ensuring floor supplies remain at PAR levels. Deliver room service menus, instruct patients on ordering systems, and assess their ability to utilize meal order technology. Communicate with nursing staff, nutrition techs, and call center personnel to obtain, transcribe, and process telephone meal orders, verifying compliance with diet parameters. Record intake and calorie counts from computerized diet sheets and maintain Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Evaluate quality control standards and demonstrate excellent customer service and listening skills with co-workers and supervisors.
