Job Summary
Oversee and inspect housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to hotel standards; supervise, train, and evaluate Guest Room Attendants and Housepersons; perform housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson duties as needed; handle guest complaints to maintain guest satisfaction; ensure compliance with safety and cleaning procedures; assist with deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions; maintain cleanliness standards across guest rooms, corridors, and service areas; communicate effectively with guests and colleagues; knowledge of chemical handling and bilingual English/Spanish a plus; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
