Job Summary
Admit, transfer, and discharge patients to and from rooms via the computer system while exercising courtesy and patience with physicians, nurses, clinical departments, patients, and families. Maintain sound public relations across all interactions. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with one year admitting experience, or two years office/clerical experience, plus completion of a medical terminology course. Must type at least 30 wpm. Schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend rotation.
