Job Summary
Room Attendant cleans guest rooms, vacuums, changes linens and towels, makes beds, cleans bathrooms, and does laundry; reports to the Director of Housekeeping. Responsibilities include communicating with guests and staff, restocking linens, updating room worksheets, performing deep cleaning twice yearly, responding to guest requests promptly, and maintaining brand standards. Requires knowledge of housekeeping procedures, guest service, Spanish and English communication, safety and chemical handling, and ability to work in a physically demanding environment; previous cleaning experience and high school diploma preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of housekeeping and hotel policies, cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to understand and communicate in Spanish and English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
