Job Summary
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and tidy environment for all hotel guests by cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and offices according to category priority. Update guest collateral, replace soiled linens and amenities, and ensure correct placement of all room items. Remove soil, dirt, and debris from bathrooms, furniture, and windows; polish surfaces, align furniture, and inspect for damages. Empty trash, dust pictures and electronics, and verify proper operation of lamps and switches. Empty ice buckets, clean mini bars, and remove items left by departing guests. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. Must be flexible with varied weekly schedules based on hotel occupancies.
Required Qualifications
- Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality
- Displays a strong hands-on approach
- Thinks critically and objectively
- Guest service oriented
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products
- Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
- Flexible schedule availability
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hour
- Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be completely flexible with scheduling and be open to varied schedules every week based on hotel occupancies
- Follow uniform guideline
