Job Summary
Room Attendant responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to standards, stripping and making beds with linens, restocking amenities and supplies, and assisting guests as needed. Tasks involve cleaning bathrooms, walls, mirrors, tiles, and floors, dusting furniture, and reporting safety concerns. The role requires physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs), extending arms overhead, working in confined spaces, effective communication with staff and guests, following instructions, and completing cleaning of a minimum number of rooms as directed. The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and guests
- Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand safety labels and instructions and basic guest requests
- Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines, including thorough cleaning of a minimum of 13 rooms as specified by management
- Ability to understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision
