Job Summary
Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas while using correct chemicals per OSHA regulations. Make beds, replace linens, and restock supplies to ensure all rooms meet established cleanliness and quality standards. Report maintenance deficiencies or safety hazards immediately and handle guest requests or complaints with attention to detail. Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest rooms while working efficiently to cover approximately 14-16 standard rooms per shift. This role supports the Housekeeping Department at the Augustine Institute, a collaborative team focused on forming Catholics for the New Evangelization through academic and parish programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to exert physical effort consistent with cleaning an industry standard number of rooms per shift (approximately 14-16 standard rooms)
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
Desired Qualifications
- At least 6 months' experience in the hospitality industry
