Job Summary
Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas to established cleanliness standards, maintains carts and storerooms, cleans and wipes surfaces, replaces towels and amenities, restocks supplies, vacuums rooms and public areas, inspects locks and lighting, and maintains a friendly, courteous demeanor while supporting safe, sanitary guest experiences. Responsibilities include loading cleaning supplies, stocking linens, and ensuring overall room and public area upkeep for hotel guests. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles
- use of cleaning products
- operation of standard cleaning equipment
- ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
