Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, remove trash and dirty linen, and keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up housekeeping carts with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen, then replenish chemical bottles. Restock carts for next day's use and report missing items like irons or hair dryers to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Immediately report any maintenance repairs. Handle "Lost and Found" items per standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. This role supports the SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy, located at 1320 Republic Drive, Colorado Springs, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
