Job Summary
Assist the professional nurse in charge of the department by passing ice, water, towels, and wash cloths, making beds, turning beds down, and cleaning or tiding up rooms. Interact with other departments, perform cleaning tasks, and restock supplies under the direction of the nurse. Obtain Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification within 6 months. This hands-off patient care role supports quality care delivery within the department.
