Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. Thoroughly clean rooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen, then restock housekeeping carts with supplies and chemicals. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed where applicable. Report missing items or maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per resort standards. Adhere to the company's Service culture, including the 4 Keys to creating guests for life, and participate in all required meetings and trainings. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming with proper uniform and nametag. Flexible and long hours are sometimes required, including nights, weekends, or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a resort or a related field preferred
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required including nights, weekends or holidays
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to stand during entire shift
- Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
- May have exposure to chemicals
