Job Summary
Clean guestrooms by making beds with fresh linens, dusting surfaces, vacuuming floors, and restocking supplies while adhering to OSHA regulations. Monitor assigned areas including hallways, stairwells, and public spaces for sanitation and organization, promptly addressing maintenance requests and guest service needs. Complete deep cleaning projects, remove trash and debris, and turn over lost items to the supervisor. Maintain a stocked linen cart and return it at shift's end, ensuring all tasks align with standard operating procedures and safety standards. Work flexible shifts with limited supervision, prioritizing duties while lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 months experience in housekeeping or relevant experience
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
- Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Must possess excellent communication, follow up, and organizational
- Must have the ability to push, pull bend, squat and lift on a regular basis up to 50 pounds
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
- Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
