Room Attendant

Job Summary
Conduct daily room cleaning and service, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Replenish amenities and ensure bathrooms are stocked while checking kitchen areas for appliance functionality. Report maintenance issues for lighting, plumbing, or HVAC problems and follow protocols for handling lost and found items. Deliver guest-requested items and maintain accurate room status on assignment sheets. Adhere to safety guidelines, use PPE for chemicals, and respect guest privacy. Work varied schedules including weekends and holidays, tolerating physical demands such as lifting up to 25 lbs and prolonged standing. Assist other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to follow job duties
- Ability to work varied schedule as necessary including weekends and holidays
- Must tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
- Must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions
- Must be able to Push up to 75 pounds, lift and carry up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment highly desired
