Job Summary
Clean, sanitize, and tidy guest rooms and common areas by removing debris, replacing towels and amenities, and making beds with fresh linens. Treat furniture, fixtures, and flooring according to standard procedures, including inspecting conditions and reporting damages. Empty trash containers, dust surfaces, and adjust furniture placement while ensuring all drawers and doors are checked. Set clock times, correct TV channels, and test light switches and lamps. Empty ice buckets, clean mini bars, and polish windows and mirrors. Work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy, maintaining a professional appearance and following uniform guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality
- Guest service oriented
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hour and requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
- Flexible schedule - ability to work a variety of shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
