Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms by making beds, changing linens, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming to meet hotel standards. Ensure windows shine, towels fold correctly, supplies restock, and closets remain organized with proper hangers. Prepare your housekeeping closet and cart area daily. Pitch coworkers, train new staff, and participate in department events. Share warm greetings with all guests encountered. Follow safety and security policies, anticipating problems and calling management as needed. Full-time position (29.99-40 hours per week) with weekends required; schedule discussed in interview.
Required Qualifications
- Basic English communication skills
- Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms
- Work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range
- Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning
- Ability to multi task
- Weekends are required
