Job Summary
Clean vacant dirty rooms and return occupied rooms to a clean status within specified time constraints, adhering to brand standards and training checklists. Maintain designated minutes per room, manage linens and supplies while ensuring sanitation and cost controls, and follow general clean procedures every 90 days. Respond immediately to guest requests and inquiries, report discrepancies to the supervisor, and assist in keeping breakrooms, restrooms, and public areas orderly. Exercise discretion to maintain guest privacy, communicate professionally via messages and log books, and comply with all safety and security measures. Work alone or as a team member, multi-task to remain service-centric, and learn necessary computer systems including Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Pass appropriate security clearances
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand for eight hours
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to communicate with other associates and/or guests
- Must be able to work alone, without direct supervision AND as a team member
- Must be able to multi task, remain service centric
- Must be able to learn/use computer systems necessary to perform daily tasks to include: Quore, Hotel Effectiveness, etc.
- Must be able to exercise discretion to maintain guest privacy
- Must be able to perform major life activities: Standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities
