Job Summary
Clean rooms as assigned, change linens, make beds, and thoroughly clean bathrooms. Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, and pick up trash while replenishing guest amenities and toiletries. Load and organize the cart, store it properly, and receive keys for assigned rooms, returning them at shift's end. Respond to guest requests, report issues, and follow lost and found procedures for items left behind. Report any items in need of repair and adhere to all safety procedures. Work holidays and weekends with varying hours based on occupancy, lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering carts up to 250 lbs. Provide personalized guest service and remain positive while solving workplace problems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to clearly understand and communicate with guests
- Must be able to complete a minimum of 16 room credits
- Ability to push, pull, lift minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to push/maneuver cart of up to 250 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel and stretch
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Free motion of arms, above waist
Desired Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Prior Housekeeping experience
