Job Summary
Room Attendant responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a comfortable and memorable experience for guests. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in public areas, answering guest inquiries, delivering items to guest rooms, turn down service, restocking and assisting with special cleaning projects. Prolonged standing/walking for 8+ hours; ability to walk stairs; lift minimum 50 lbs and push/pull approximately 200 lbs. WORK EXPERIENCE: 1 year of cleaning/janitorial experience or equivalent; hotel guest room cleaning experience preferred. Knowledge and skills include English communication, interpersonal skills, multitasking, conflict resolution, and maintaining guest confidentiality. Located at The InterContinental The Clement Monterey (PHM) in Monterey, CA, part-time hourly position within a hospitality team with benefits and travel discounts.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of cleaning/janitorial experience or equivalent
- Hotel guest room cleaning experience preferred
- Bilingual or Multilingual (preferred)
