Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas of Hilton Richmond Downtown. Clean a standard of 16 rooms per day, make beds, replace linens, replenish amenities, collect and discard trash, and prepare housekeeping carts. Report maintenance deficiencies, follow safety procedures, and attend mandatory meetings. Ensure compliance with brand/hotel cleanliness standards and support environmental commitments while providing high-energy, customer-focused service to business and leisure guests.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- US work authorization required
- Min 6 months previous room attendant/housekeeping experience in hotel/resort or similar
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use hands, arms, and fingers for extended periods of time
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards
- Able to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service
- Able to effectively communicate in English
- Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
