Job Summary
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas by making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking linens and toiletries. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Manager while adhering to security protocols and guest privacy standards. Respond to guest requests promptly and perform general cleaning tasks in lobbies, corridors, and stairwells. This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally within a hotel environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the hotel property for the majority of the work shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment.
