Job Summary
The Housekeeping Room Attendant at Hotel Monteleone is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, restocking linens, and maintaining the hotel's high presentation standards. Duties include following detailed cleaning instructions, resolving guest issues regarding missing items, maintaining cleanliness of hot tubs, and performing various cleaning tasks to ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- One year of housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel or at least two years of general cleaning experience
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English
- Must be able to work standing for long periods (up to 8 hours)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Must be a self-motivator
- Must be guest-service oriented
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Must be able to work morning, weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
