Job Summary
Maintain hotel rooms and public areas by cleaning windows, doors, walls, and fixtures, while washing restrooms and hard floors. Set up and maintain cleaning carts, strip and remake beds with fresh linens, and replace towels, soaps, and amenities. Dust furniture, vacuum hallways, and inspect locks and lights to ensure safety, alerting management to any unsecured situations. Perform other duties as assigned while communicating effectively with guests and associates. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighting up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
