Job Summary
Maintain hotel rooms and public areas by setting up cleaning carts, stripping and remaking beds, and washing restrooms and floors. Clean windows, doors, walls, and fixtures while dusting furniture and polishing wall hangings. Replace soiled towels, amenities, and literature, then vacuum hallways and inspect locks and lights for safety. Alert management immediately to any unsecured or unsafe situations. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing equipment weighing 100 lbs. Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighting up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
