Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive guest rooms while following company standards and safety procedures. Greet all guests, promptly respond to their needs, and ensure satisfaction through consistent service delivery. Thoroughly clean and re-stock rooms within a 30-minute standard per departure, removing trash and dirty linen. Prepare housekeeping carts, make beds, vacuum, dust, and clean bathrooms to hotel specifications. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and vacuumed. Work independently with limited supervision, maintaining proper grooming and uniform while complying with all hotel regulations and scheduling requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in small group situations to customers and other employees
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests and supervisors
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to sit or stand as needed for an extended period of time
- Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to store materials
- Proper lifting techniques
- Lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects over 50lbs
- Ability to use various EQP, vacuum cleaners
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions
- Physically able to do cleaning, lifting, bending for extended period of time
