Job Summary
Clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while ensuring hallways, public areas, and closets are vacuumed and neat. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up housekeeping carts with supplies and linens, restocking carts and replenishing chemical bottles. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor and handle lost-and-found items per standards. Maintain overall guest satisfaction while working weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Weekends mandatory
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
