Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, complete pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linen, and remove trash and dirty linen from rooms and hallways. Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the cleaning cart for the next day and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items such as irons or hair dryers and any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. This role supports the Fairfield Inn & Suites at The Keys Collection, a newly built property in Key West, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
