Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while keeping hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linen, restocking chemicals, and replenishing items. Report missing room items or maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager and handle Lost and Found items per standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas to uphold high guestroom standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
