Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including removing trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen. Restock the cleaning cart, replenish chemical bottles, and keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Report missing items such as irons or hair dryers and any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle items for "Lost and Found" per standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. This role supports the historic Stanford Court hotel on Nob Hill, located atop San Francisco's famous hill.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
