Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while keeping hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Complete pre-cleaning duties for the housekeeping cart set-up, restock cleaning supplies, and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager and handle "Lost and Found" items per standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and stand during the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
