Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including removing trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Complete all pre-cleaning duties such as setting up the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen. Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart and replenish chemical bottles for next day's use. Report any missing items or maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction while maintaining an attentive, courteous, and efficient service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
