Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while keeping hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed. Complete all pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linen, restock the cart, and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items or maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager and handle "Lost and Found" items per standards to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Work full shifts standing for the entire duration, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Located at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA, this role supports the hotel's 686 guestrooms in the South of Market district.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
