Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen while keeping hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Complete all pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linens, restock the cart for the next day, and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager and handle "Lost and Found" items per standards. Maintain an attentive, courteous, and efficient service style to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
