Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Complete pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen. Restock the cart with chemicals and vacuum hallways, public areas, and closets. Report missing items like irons and hair dryers, as well as any maintenance repairs, immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per standards to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Requires ability to stand during entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
