Job Summary
Maintain hotel rooms and the building to ensure a safe, clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors. Responsibilities include cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors; stripping beds and changing linens; dusting furniture and fixtures; vacuuming and emptying trash; replenishing amenities and supplies in guest rooms; signing for room keys and restocking heavy carts; inspecting rooms for cleanliness and appearance; and complying with attendance rules. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (bed linens) and push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs. Strong teamwork and effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and guests are essential. Willingness to help coworkers and adapt to duties as assigned. Benefits and a comprehensive program are offered by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
