Job Summary
Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests and associates. Essential duties include cleaning bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors; stripping and making beds and changing linens; dusting furniture and fixtures; operating a vacuum and restocking amenities; signing for room keys and restocking carts; visually inspecting rooms for cleanliness and status; and adhering to attendance rules. Requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work as part of a team, with effective verbal and written communication to interact with supervisors, coworkers, and guests. Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment, and readiness to perform other related duties as assigned. Benefits and career development programs are described in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces; extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks; ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs; effective verbal and written communication skills; adapt communication style to suit different audiences; knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment; willingness to pitch-in and help co-workers; ability to work in confined spaces; maintain cleanliness to ensure safe guest experience.
