Job Summary
Room Attendant responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to hotel standards using proper cleaning chemicals, transporting supplies and linens, changing bed linens, dusting and polishing furniture, inspecting rooms for damages, ensuring guest room literature and Do Not Disturb signage, and reporting maintenance issues. Responsibilities also include cleaning bathrooms, restocking amenities, vacuuming, and preparing rooms for new guests, while maintaining safety and cleanliness and communicating with other departments. The role requires physical activity such as moving, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working on-site in Salt Lake City, UT.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail
- Physical ability to move at least 90% of the time and lift up to 75 lbs
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling (OSHA regulations)
- Ability to follow safety standards and hotel policies
- Capable of effective communication with guests and departments
