Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards while removing trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Complete pre-cleaning duties for housekeeping cart set-up, restock cleaning supplies, and replenish chemical bottles. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per standards to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Requires ability to stand during entire shift and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
