Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards and complete pre-cleaning duties including setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linens. Remove trash and dirty linen from rooms and hallways, keeping all public areas, hallways, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the cleaning cart and replenish chemical bottles for the next day's use. Report missing items such as irons or hair dryers and any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle lost and found items according to established standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
