Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing all trash and dirty linen while maintaining hallways, public areas, and closets. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies, linens, and chemicals, then restock it for the next day. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, and handle lost and found items per standards. Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and full shift standing. Located at Courtyard Bloomingdale, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
