Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, completing pre-cleaning duties for housekeeping cart set-up including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways, then keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day and replenish chemical bottles. Report missing items like irons and hair dryers, as well as any maintenance repairs, immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
