Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing trash and dirty linen from rooms and hallways. Complete pre-cleaning duties by setting up the housekeeping cart with supplies and linen, then replenish chemical bottles. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the housekeeping cart for the next day and handle items for "Lost and Found" per standards. Report missing items from rooms and any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Ensure overall guest satisfaction while maintaining a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
