Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, complete pre-cleaning duties for housekeeping cart set-up, and remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed, then restock the cleaning cart and replenish chemical bottles for the next day. Report missing items and maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, and handle "Lost and Found" items per standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and stand for the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
