Job Summary
Room Attendant role focused on maintaining cleanliness and guest comfort in hotel rooms. Responsibilities include making beds, changing linens, replacing towels, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, replenishing amenities, cleaning and stocking bathrooms and kitchen areas where applicable, reporting maintenance issues, upholding Do Not Disturb protocols, restocking housekeeping carts, delivering requested items to rooms, adhering to safety and SDS guidelines, maintaining room status on daily assignment sheets, and providing courteous service to guests and colleagues. Requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and hotel security regulations, plus ability to communicate effectively and work varied schedules. PPE usage and physical ability to perform job duties are required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience highly desired
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to follow job duties
- Ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs; push up to 75 lbs; exposure to cleaning solutions
