Job Summary
Room Attendant role responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in a hotel, including vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining overall room cleanliness according to company standards and Green Policy. Requires knowledge of hotel services and amenities, ability to assist guests with information, participate in ongoing training, and maintain friendly, courteous interactions. Must adhere to safety regulations, complete opening/closing duties, monitor and update room status, manage in-room amenities and missing items, and communicate with other departments to fulfill guests’ needs. Shift options include day and evening with holidays and weekends required; strong English communication and multitasking skills are essential for delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining audits of room cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
- Previous room cleaning preferred
- Communicates effectively with others
- Works productively with a team
- Effective multitasking skills
- Composure and patience under pressure
- Strong English communication and organizational skills
- Must be available to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
