Job Summary
Cleans and prepares guest rooms and public areas to established cleanliness standards to assure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of hotel rooms and building, setting up cleaning carts, cleaning windows/fixtures, restocking towels and amenities, cleaning floors and surfaces, inspecting door/window locks, and upholding a friendly, courteous demeanor. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Priorities include safety, sanitation, and efficient cleaning of rooms and public areas to maximize guest satisfaction and hotel revenues.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective communication with guests and associates
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
