Job Summary
Cleans and maintains hotel guest rooms and public areas to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety, ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include setting up cleaning carts with supplies, cleaning windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and restrooms; restocking towels, soaps, amenities, and literature; remaking beds with fresh linens; vacuuming and dusting furniture and fixtures; inspecting locks for security; maintaining cleanliness of storerooms and carts; and sustaining a friendly, courteous demeanor while performing duties and adapting to a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
