Job Summary
Rooftop Loader responsible for loading/unloading roofing materials from delivery trucks and transporting them onto rooftops using a conveyor system, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring safe handling per OSHA standards. Duties include assisting with scaffolding assembly, inspecting equipment, reconciling material orders and inventories, maintaining documentation, and delivering professional customer service to roofing contractors on outdoor rooftop sites. Requires physical stamina to lift 80-100 lbs, ability to work at heights with PPE (harness), and adherence to safety protocols; prior forklift experience and Spanish language skills are preferred. Location: Vancouver, WA; 40-hour+ workweeks with possible overtime, frequent local travel, and potential overtime. Starting wage ranges between $20.00-$24.00 per hour, with applicable benefits and bonuses where offered.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, and a pre-employment drug test
- Proficiency in verbal and written English; basic math for inventory counts
- Ability to read work orders and shipping orders; follow verbal instructions
- Ability to work on sloped roofs of various pitches and heights
- Willingness to wear PPE including harness
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and high noise environments
