Job Summary
Rooftop Loader responsible for loading and unloading roofing materials from delivery trucks, transporting materials onto and across rooftops using manual and conveyor methods, and coordinating with drivers to ensure accurate material counts and on-time delivery. Maintains OSHA-compliant safety practices, assists with scaffolding and site inspections, provides professional service to roofing contractors, and supports branch operations and inventory documentation. Requires the ability to lift 80-100 lbs, work on sloped roofs, operate PPE correctly, and communicate effectively in English; a forklift certification and Spanish skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test
- Physical stamina and strength, with the capability to lift between 80-100 lbs
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counts
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and proper use of PPE
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
- Ability to work on sloped roofs
- Must wear appropriate PPE including a harness
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with overtime potential
